What You'll Do:
Assist patients under the supervision of Occupational Therapists by implementing care plans
Instruct patients in the use of adaptive technology and equipment
Advise families on care needs in accordance with legal and clinical standards
Conduct home visits to demonstrate functional skills, mobility, and home safety
Coordinate therapeutic activities to improve physical, mental, and social functioning
Support overall goals of the therapy team and contribute to each resident’s quality of life
What You'll Need:
Must be licensed and registered to practice as an Occupational Therapy Assistant in the state of Florida (required)
Associate’s degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program or equivalent (required)
