What You'll Do:
- Lead and oversee the full accounts receivable lifecycle, from billing and collections to month-end close, ensuring accurate revenue and financial reporting.
- Play a key role in compliant healthcare billing, working with Medicare, Medicaid, Managed Care, Hospice, and Private Pay while following CMS, HIPAA, and GAAP standards.
- Manage admission and discharge census entries, payer setup, benefit verification, and charge entry to ensure residents are billed accurately and on time.
- Monitor AR aging, resolving denials and appeals, processing refunds, and improving collection outcomes.
- Collaborate with clinical, admissions, and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate authorizations, documentation, and pre-billing reviews.
- Utilize multiple billing systems and web portals to generate reports, reconciliations, and insights that support financial health.
- Deliver exceptional service to residents, families, and internal partners while maintaining confidentiality, safety, and regulatory excellence.
What You'll Need:
- A minimum of an associate's degree and 2 years of health care billing experience (required)
