How you will make an impact:
As a Home Health Aide at St. Mark Village, you will provide support services based on individualized Care Plans developed by licensed health professionals. Responsibilities include assisting clients with daily personal care activities such as hygiene, mobility, eating, dressing, shaving, and physical transfers. The role also involves maintaining a clean and safe home environment through light housekeeping duties and supporting specific health-related tasks as instructed by healthcare providers. These tasks may include toileting assistance, mobility support, range of motion exercises, basic medical monitoring (e.g., temperature, pulse, blood pressure), and dietary preparations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attentiveness, reliability, and a strong commitment to improving the quality of life for each client.
Schedule: This is a PRN (as needed) position, with both AM and PM shifts available, 8am-12pm and 5pm-9pm.
What you will need:
- CPR certification (required).
- Must be over the age of 18 (required).
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience (required).
- Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a sincere desire to care for the elderly.
