How you will make an impact:
As an Environmental Services Technician at St. Mark Village, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness throughout the facility. Your duties will include cleaning Resident rooms and common areas, such as mopping, vacuuming, polishing, emptying trash, cleaning kitchens and bathrooms, and washing windows. This role requires working independently with minimal supervision, handling and disposing of hazardous waste safely, using proper cleaning chemicals and equipment, and ensuring safety and infection control policies are followed. You will also be tasked with maintaining furniture, light fixtures, and floor surfaces, as well as performing minor repairs such as unclogging toilets and changing light bulbs. Additionally, you may prepare apartments for move-ins and deliver personal clothing. Other duties may be assigned as needed.
Schedule varies: This is a full-time position, Sunday-Thursday, 7:30 am-4:00 pm.
What you will need:
- 1+ year of housekeeping experience (required).
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Ability to work well with others, being courteous and considerate when interacting with Residents, team members, and visitors.
- Able to stand, walk, lift to 35 pounds, and perform basic physical tasks. Accommodations are available for disabilities.
